FYNCH & HATTON

FYNCH-HATTON was founded in 1998 by Roger Brandts. His fascination for Africa and the Brit Denys Finch Hatton were the main inspiration for this brand. So Brands turned this fascination into a fashion line for men which was mainly shaped by South African culture. Brandts’ vision was honest and casual fashion which would also be to Denys Finch Hatton’s liking. Latter was an adventurer and was “open for everything and always looking for the unusual”. According to Brandts, “Finch Hatton’s actions matched his beliefs, which is why he is an immense inspiration for the brand.”. The name is an homage to Denys Finch Hatton, who impressed the world with his independence, adventuresomeness and fondness for freedom. The unmistakable brand’s logo consists of the very recognizable umbrella acacia, the typical tree of the African savanna. FYNCH-HATTON started as a knitwear brand only, however it has expanded its product range and now offers a total look for men- everything a man needs to be well dressed.
“Fynch-Hatton should be a high quality brand which is affordable to everyone but doesn’t abandon the style of a premium brand.” – Roger Brandts.
